EchoLink is for licensed Amateur Radio operators. New users must register and complete EchoLink validation before they can connect. If the station list is blank, validation or password setup may not be complete.
Choose the Easiest Option
- Web browser: Use EchoLink Web. This is the easiest choice if you do not want to install an app. Allow microphone access if you plan to transmit. EchoLink Web must stay in the foreground while transmitting.
- Windows: Download EchoLink from the official EchoLink download page, install it, then register or sign in.
- iPhone or iPad: Install EchoLink from the App Store.
- Android: Install EchoLink from Google Play.
- Mac: Try EchoLink Web first. EchoLink also lists EchoHam as a compatible Mac option, but it is not supported by EchoLink.
After Setup
- Sign in with your validated amateur radio callsign.
- Do not run EchoLink on more than one device at the same time using the same callsign.
- Use *ECHOTEST* to test your microphone and speaker audio before joining a net.
- Search for N7OD-R or node 3341.
- Connect, listen first, and identify with your callsign before transmitting.
- For LDARC operating notes, see Using EchoLink with LDARC.
