Emergency Preparedness Fair
This year’s Community Emergency Preparedness Fair, is coming up October 24th,
10 AM to 1 PM. Preparedness booths, live demonstrations, prizes and activities.
Learn and Discover! Ask the experts.
Bring a friend, bring the whole family.
This event is free and it’s a great opportunity to prepare your home and your family,
when disaster strikes.

October 24th. 1150 Park Avenue, San Jacinto, 10am to 1pm.
The Lee DeForest Amateur Radio Club will have two tables set up, one indoors and one outside. The indoor one will have a video playing and handing out flyers, and we need to have somebody at that table, and then we’ll have a station set up outside to demonstrate radio ham radio hardware, HF and digital. So we need at least four volunteers to help set up and tear down and man the tables, the more the merrier. If we get more than four, that would be great. We did have a small handful of people last year, it was a lot of fun, and it goes by quickly. So if you can help on the 24th, set up chair down or man tables, please let us know during roll call. If you were there last year, I’m hoping to hear from you again this year to help out. If you weren’t there last year and would like to help out this year, that’s even better.
