Logging Contacts

  • Use Live QSO for real-time contacts while operating.
  • Use Post QSO for contacts entered after the fact.
  • Check callsign, date, time, band, mode, frequency, and signal reports before saving.
  • After saving, review the contact in the log to confirm it landed in the intended logbook.

Editing and Corrections

  • Correct mistakes as soon as you notice them.
  • For club or event logs, ask before deleting contacts or changing settings that affect other operators.

Confirmations and DX Cluster

  • Use QSL status tools to track confirmations.
  • Use the DX Cluster as an operating aid, then confirm the contact details before saving.
  • For QSL-specific steps, use WaveLog QSL Cards.
