LDARC Spring Breakfast Fundraiser
Our Spring Breakfast Fundraiser is May 23rd at 9am. Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $5.00 kids. Show support for our club and our great & NOW certified food handlers. We make the best fundraiser breakfast in town. Made from scratch buttermilk pancakes, along with toppings or your choice of syrup, along with bacon, sausage, hash browns and scrambled eggs. Also Juice or coffee. It’s a great breakfast where the ham is only implied but always the main ingredient.
There are a few of you getting your certification this week. They are due by this Friday. Please text a photo of your certification to 951 337-6519 and text suite #265.
We also need 2 more volunteers (no food cert required) to help with food orders and other support outside the kitchen. If you would like to help out let us know when you check in tonight.
Lot’s of opportunity for members to support our breakfast fundraiser. Volunteer to help (it’s a lot of fun), Donate money toward our food expense. We have a goal of net 0 food cost and finally just come and have breakfast. And remember bring your friends and family. It’s a great way to share ham radio with someone new.
Reach out to KN6MJS or KN6PUR to buy advance tickets this really helps us acquire the right amount of supplies. Reach out to KN6MJS for food donations. LDARC is compensating members who are volunteer food handlers.

SFD PERRIS LAKE JUNE 27th, 28th
We are switching things up this year. For a few years now we have had SFD at Mc Sweeney park. KN6PUR has done a great job making sure we have the gazebo for our event and permission to stay overnight. Thank you Larry. There have been requests for a different location for radio operations and more of a camping environment.
Our goal is to have the club membership cover the expense of the 4 reserved spots. To that end we are asking for 7 donations of $25.00 to cover the reservations.
SFD will also be our first Fox Hunt of the year. It will likely be held on Sunday. More information will follow on our website.
Reach out to KN6PUR or KN6RBP with any questions. If you would like to support the event with a $25 donation reach out to KN6MJS. All of this can also be done at our regular monthly meeting next Wednesday May 20th. SFD Q&A is on the agenda.
