KN6UNL Antenna Project

Last weekend KN6UNL, WK3Y & myself KN6RBP conducted an antenna building bonanza.
We built 9 antennas, 5-10 meter roll ups and 4-Open Stub J-Poles. And we have parts ready for 3 more J-Poles. KE6JGM & KN6MJS were on hand for the building of their J-Poles.

Thank you Marcos for making this all happen and a special thanks to Charlie for showing up early and staying till it was all done. Thank you so much for a really fun and productive day!

It will be at the Thomas Mountain Summit Camp Site, May 2-4.

This years May Fundraiser will be at the Colonial Country Club on May 25th.
Tickets are adults $10.00, children $5.00. Friends and family are also invited.
We’ll be serving from 10am to 11:30.

  • Pancakes (blueberries & chocolate chips available in the side).
  • Bacon and/or Sausage Patty
  • Scrambled Eggs
  • Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Coffee or water.

And it’s all served by Ham… Radio Operators.

Important

Last Year we had almost 70 attendees for our breakfast fundraiser. So Far this year we are under 40 people expected. I know that Karen has been asking at meetings and nets. Tonight its my turn.

The LDARC Fundraiser breakfast really is a fun, and inexpensive way have breakfast. Support our club, and maybe introduce someone new to our club.

So… If you haven’t signed up for breakfast. We need you, your family, your friends. Your friends family. People who, maybe you don’t know at all, but just look like they may be hungry on May 25th. Check your calendar. Make a few calls. Call in a few favors.
This will be the best breakfast yet. And it’s the most important meal of the day. And we are all counting on you. Operator is standing by. Her Name is Karen. She’s Very Nice.
