Emergency Preparedness Fair
When: October 18th 10a – 2p
Where: 425 N Kirby st.
You are all invited to atttend!
Our County Emergency coordinator as well as ARES & LDARC will be set up on location.
LDARC & ARES will be demonstrating HF, Winlink & Digital Radio.
We need a couple more volunteers to help set up and or tear down as well as backup booth manning. This is something new in our community, and a great opportunity to find new ham operators or perhaps existing hams in our community. If you are able to help us please let up know when we call your name. If you are not able to volunteer please try to attend the event.
There will be lots of great information and resources there. I think we all have some inadequacies with regard to emergency preparedness. Hope to see you there.
And bring family and friends!

Our club is growing in size and participating in more activities than ever. This requires a energized board and officers that are always changing and bringing new ideas and ways of doing things. Please consider stepping up for LDARC and our local ham community.
There’s always a lot going on at the Lee DeForest Amateur Radio Club!
Keep up with what’s happening, by frequently visiting our website.
