Announcement by KN6RBP
I would like to welcome Brookes KO6JVD to our club. Brookes was at this mornings breakfast.
It was a pleasure meeting you Sir. Brookes is General class and looking to work all the bands and modes from what I gather.
Also, Atta Boy goes to KE6JGM for helping him get on our nets including digital C4FM with a 70d.
POTA Palm Springs Tram
Our next POTA event will be August 30th from 9am – 2pm. Tickets are available here.
Your station will be at 8-10 thousand feet depending on where you set up.
Note: Your station must fit on your person for the ride up and then must be deplorable in a public environment.
Some of us will be staying later for more exploration and a meal at the restaurant. And maybe a nighttime descent back down to the desert.
You are encouraged to bring family. Consider getting the dinner and tram deal when you buy your tickets. It’s beautiful up there and there is a lot to take in.
