Our next POTA event will be August 30th from 9am – 2pm. Tickets are available here.
Your station will be at 8-10 thousand feet depending on where you set up.

PLEASE NOTE: If tickets are sold-out online,
you can still purchase tickets at the tram on the day of your visit.

T-Shirts are available. If you are interested please let Net Control Know tonight.
Shirts that are ordered NOW, will be ready by the 30th.

Please let NC Know if you will be joining us on the 30th so we have a Ballpark Headcount.

Some Stations will also be going on other weekends.
Reach out to myself or Membership for more info.

Some of us will be staying later for more exploration and a meal at the restaurant. And maybe a nighttime descent back down to the desert.
You are encouraged to bring family. Consider getting the dinner and tram deal when you buy your tickets. It’s beautiful up there and there is a lot to take in.

Your station must fit on your person for the ride up, then must be deployable in a public environment.
To view the Tramway Rules, Regulations, and Policies, please read here.

The Eagle Net has a new schedule!

  • First week 10 meters 28.360mhz
  • 2nd LDARC HF Contest Returns
  • 3rd week 75 meters 3.900mhz
  • 4th week is 40 meters 7.238mhz.
  • 5th week is for something different. SSB 6,12,17 meters or JS8Call any band.
It is our hope that our new frequencies will allow us to hear each other better as well as make out of area contacts more regularly. Unfortunately these new frequencies do require a General Class license or better. For this reason, we are keeping it on 10 meters the first Tuesday of each month.

There’s always a lot going on at the Lee DeForest Amateur Radio Club!
Keep up with what’s happening, by frequently visiting our website.
You’ll find all club announcements & newsletters, as well as LDARC,
