Hemet Christmas Parade LDARC Booth
Saturday, December 6
5:00 – 9:00pm
This event is fun every year. I love our small town parade. We always meet new hams from our area and many more interested in the hobby. Please come out if you can and enjoy the food and fun of the parade and support our club by stopping by our booth. Bring friends and family and enjoy the parade and local folks and at least one guy from way up north, if ya know what I mean.
We need 4 volunteers for set up and tear down. Volunteers would need to be at the site by 2:30. City event people have asked that all booths are set up by 4pm.
Larry KN6PUR, thank you for setting this event up with the city and organizing it for the club.
Atta Boy!
If you are able to come early please let Hyatt know during roll call. Thank You.

Net Control Operators Are Needed!
We need Net Control operators & Net Loggers!
Net control operations is a fun way to improve radio communication skills, & help our club.
We need operators to run NetLogger. NetLogger is a great way to attract stations from the out of our area. This makes our nets more interesting and grows participation.
Contact KN6RBP if you can help or would like more infoemation.
Fun Fact:
Natural disasters don’t necessarily take the holidays off!
Man made or natural disasters of big enough scope can overwhelm our normal lines of communication. Land lines, cell systems and the internet may be gone or unreliable. It may take days or weeks to bring in the infrastructure necessary to restore communications. This is where ARES can provide vital communications resources for the responders and the public.
Every licensed amateur, regardless of membership in ARRL® or any other local or national organization, is eligible to apply for membership in ARES.
Our hobby is based on the desire to communicate, and the use of technology to do so. Why not put that to good use by serving your community in times of need.
To apply for ARES® membership please go to ARESDV website.
You could make a difference, when it REALLY matters.
