March 21st @ 8am

Announcement by KN6RBP

Our POTA event this Friday August 30th is looking good! We will start arriving at the tram around 9a and will be operating all day.
Your station will be at 8-10 thousand feet depending on where you set up.

The Rangers are expecting us on Saturday!

Your station must fit on your person for the ride up and then must be deploy-able in a public environment. It is also important that you check in with the ranger station once at the top tram station. Let them know what you will be doing and follow any instruction they may have.
While setting up and operating, as always remember to follow POTA standards and rules.

Make Ham Radio and POTA look good, and activate US-1177 that’s the name of the game this weekend.

PLEASE NOTE: If tickets are sold-out online,
you can still purchase tickets at the tram on the day of your visit.

If you ordered Shirts for this event they will be ready on Friday the 29th, that’s this Friday!

We will use LTAC4 70CM 446.150mhz FM. If there is QRM on that freq we will use a pl tone 100.

I hope to see you at 8,000′ this weekend.
Some Stations will also be going on other weekends.
Reach out to myself or Membership for more info.
And remember to spot yourself before operating.

POTA Lake Perris November 7th & 8th.

We would like to get a headcount for our POTA Lake Perris Friday Night operations. We have a space we would like to reserve but are just short of the bar to reserve it. If we get the large space the expense will be split between us and should not be more than $30.00 each for the night.

So, if you will be joining us for POTA Perris nighttime operations let us know when we call your name during the roster. Also if you will be participating in POTA Perris Beach on Saturday let us know tonight if possible.
