Announcement by KN6RBP

I would like to thank N7OD for his great outline for a our potential new repeater location, and the costs, logistics & considerations to make it happen. I think our new board members now see how lucky we are to have Bart as our club repeater trustee. 2 Atta Boy’s go to you for going above and beyond. Thank You Bart!

Simplex Net on Sunday Nights! Now has a NEW TIME!

The net begins on this repeater at 8:00pm on LDARC repeater in FM. Net control will provide frequency information. Then we return to the club repeater for the next frequency.
Thank you KO6ALP putting this net forward as a idea to the club.

Tuesday Roster Net Night Lineup

Eagle Net Bands & Modes (subject to change)
The Eagle Net has a new schedule!

  • First week 10 meters 28.360mhz
  • 2nd LDARC HF Contest Returns
  • 3rd week 75 meters 3.900mhz
  • 4th week is 40 meters 7.238mhz.
  • 5th week is for something different. SSB 6,12,17 meters or JS8Call any band.
It is our hope that our new frequencies will allow us to hear each other better as well as make out of area contacts more regularly. Unfortunately these new frequencies do require a General Class license or better. For this reason, we are keeping it on 10 meters the first Tuesday of each month.

Digital Only after hours (subject to change)
The after hours nets are round-table chat with no NC.

Fifth week wildcard

Net Control Operators Are Needed!

We need Net Control operators & Net Loggers!
Net control operations is a fun way to improve radio communication skills, & help our club.
We need operators to run NetLogger. NetLogger is a great way to attract stations from the out of our area. This makes our nets more interesting and grows participation.
Contact KN6RBP if you can help or would like more infoemation.

I would like to thank those of you who have stepped up as a logger and net control operator.
Atta Boy’s to you.
