Duane, I took have tried it a couple of times but don’t really have the hang of it.
The online tutorials go way to far into the message store and forward capabilities, which for the time being, aren’t of real interest. I was thinking more of an FT8 where you could add some personality.
I’ll catch you had Rick at the next meeting.

We are going to be on tonight after the digital net tonight. I will text you with freq. etc.
I’m Interested in JS8Call, and see that it is proposed for 7.078MHz, but the mention above doesn’t mention Time or Day, so I’m confused as to when to join in. Could you provide details?

Gladly. There are just a small handful of us that have actually tried it. There is no set schedule for any kind of net for JS8CALL, however as more folks get into it, that very well could happen. The appearance is very similar to FT4/FT8, but allows you to send text messages to another station. I will let Rick KN6RBP know as well. He and I have used it a little bit. Will try to get you in on the next time. Thanks for reaching out.
